PEAU is a small-batch skincare brand from Lebanon with one obsession: sun protection you can actually trust on your skin, every single day.

Why we exist

We grew up under a Mediterranean sun — and like most people, we grew up being told to fear it. But when we read the ingredient labels on the sunscreens we were using, we didn't love what we found: chemical UV filters like oxybenzone and octinoxate that FDA studies have shown can absorb into the bloodstream, synthetic fragrances, and seed-oil bases that sit heavy on the skin.

So we asked a simple question: what would sunscreen look like if it were built like skincare?

What we make

The answer is our Tallow Sunscreen SPF 50 — a mineral formula built on 25% non-nano zinc oxide, which sits on top of the skin and physically reflects UVA and UVB rays, blended into a base of 100% grass-fed, cosmetic-grade tallow. Tallow's fatty-acid profile closely mirrors your skin's own sebum, which is why the formula absorbs like a rich moisturizer instead of a chalky sunblock. The full ingredient list is eight items long — zinc oxide, tallow, shea butter, caprylic/capric triglyceride, squalane, jojoba oil, beeswax, and vitamin E — and every one of them is there for your skin, not for shelf life.

How we make it

Every jar is made in Lebanon in small batches. Small-batch production means the product you receive was made close to when it ships — fresh, active, and traceable. When a batch sells through, the next one is made to order. We pay Cash-on-Delivery-level attention to every order because in our market, trust is earned at the doorstep, not just at checkout.

Our promise

No chemical UV filters. No synthetic fragrance. No seed oils. No ingredients we wouldn't put on our own family's skin — including the youngest members. If something isn't right with your order, our refund policy is simple and human.
